Sarah Sugg

Clinical Trainee

Hello, my name is Sarah (she/her), and I am a Clinical Mental Health Counseling (PCC) Intern at Little Munchkins Therapy. I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Connecticut College and am currently completing my Clinical Mental Health Counseling program at Northwestern University.

I value a collaborative approach to therapy and strive to ensure that our work together aligns with your individual values, goals, and needs. My aim is to create a supportive space where clients feel understood and empowered in their healing process.

I am particularly passionate about supporting individuals navigating trauma, postpartum depression, and obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD). My theoretical orientation is primarily psychodynamic and is tailored to each client’s unique experiences and goals. I draw from a variety of therapeutic approaches depending on what is most helpful for each individual, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based strategies, and other evidence-based interventions.

I approach all of my work with cultural humility and respect for each client’s lived experience. I look forward to partnering with you to create meaningful growth and positive change in your life.
