Hello, My name is Barbara Lowenstein and I am an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist and a mother of two young wonderful children. I specialize in working with children and adolescents struggling with anxiety and depression and helping couples reconnect with each other through improving their communication and connection with each other. I have post-graduate training from the Gottman Institute as a Bringing Baby Home educator and as a Gottman Couple and Recovery educator.
I received my Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy from Alliant International University and my MBA from Drexel University. My clinical practicum was at The Liberation Institute, where I provided client centered therapy to children, adolescents, adults and couples. My clinical training includes trauma informed cognitive behavior therapy, parent child interaction therapy, and training from Stanford in the Psychology of Addiction and Addiction Recovery.
